With a playoff win on the line, Arbor View rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Green Valley Gators. The Aggies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.
Ava Henderson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Henderson was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lilly Easton, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Malaya Tellis, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
