The Silas Rams pushed their score all the way to 68 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Stadium by a score of 70-68. Silas lost against Stadium in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-57 score last time.
Silas' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makhai Tolliver, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Antione Vallarde-Larkins, who scored 16 points.
Silas' defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Stadium, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lakes the next time they take the court. Stadium will host Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Silas will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
