Bridges Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  16-12 to the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their  loss to the NaviGators from their previous meeting  back in May of 2023.
 Olivia Randall and  Mallorie Brown did some serious damage despite the final result:  Randall  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Brown  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grace Smyth, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-5.

 Even though they lost, Bridges Prep  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in three consecutive  matchups.
Bridges Prep's record now sits at 2-5. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Coming up, Bridges Prep will face off against First Baptist School at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. First Baptist School will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Bridges Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will square off against Palmetto Scholars Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
