The Dominican Knights will square off against the St. Thomas More Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominican is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Dominican had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Catholic Central on Monday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Hilltoppers. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Tyler Feldbruegge made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Michael Griesel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Michael Perez-Cruz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas More suffered their biggest defeat since June 4, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 11-4 to West De Pere.
St. Thomas More saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Galaszewski, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
St. Thomas More's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Dominican, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Dominican has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like St. Thomas More struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Dominican might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from St. Thomas More when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
