Even though the North Vermillion Falcons scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the South Vermillion Wildcats still came out on top. South Vermillion blew past North Vermillion 78-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Vermillion.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Vermillion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayson Shoults, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Bush, who scored 18 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals.
South Vermillion's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Vermillion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
South Vermillion will be playing at home against Edgewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Vermillion won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Riverton Parke at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
