If Woodson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Santo on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cowboys fell just short of the XDOT Academy Bison by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cowboys' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodson actually scored more points across those five sets (100-89), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 13-25, 11-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Woodson's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for XDOT Academy, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Woodson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Munday on the 27th. XDOT Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Aspermont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
