Buhach Colony extended the longest winning streak in Central California this week by beating Turlock, 61-27. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Buhach Colony led the league in scoring this week after putting up 61 points on the Bulldogs.
Merced's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Eli Gutierrez has thrown for 1495 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Bradley Adamson has 31 catches for 624 yards. Errol Dennis leads the league in rushing with 749 yards.
Two of the top units in Central California will face off this week when Kevin Swartwood's team takes on Atwater. The Thunder's offense has scored 317 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Falcons have allowed only 109 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Buhach Colony takes on Atwater. As it stands, the Thunder are in second, while Bob Valladao's team is in fourth.
There should be lots of points scored when Buhach Colony and the Falcons face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Thunder comes in having scored 317 this season, while Atwater has scored 265. Buhach Colony scored 61 points last week as it topped Turlock.
