The Allendale-Fairfax Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Ridgeland-Hardeeville 24-20. Allendale-Fairfax lost against Ridgeland-Hardeeville in their previous head to head back in September of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 20-12 score last time.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurice Brown out in front who threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. Wenson Smith also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Allendale-Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
Allendale-Fairfax will head out on the road to face off against Latta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Latta will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will take on Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Andrew Jackson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Ridgeland-Hardeeville likes a good challenge.
