3A South Central recap September 10, 2013
Andrew Hall of Discovery Canyon ran for the longest rushing play in 3A South Central this season against Air Academy last week. Hall's team beat the Kadets as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 83 in all.
Discovery Canyon took down Air Academy 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alec Wirtjes threw for 90 yards and ran for 83 yards during the win.
Mitchell's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Andre Savoy threw for 89 yards and Jamal Williams had 71 yards receiving. On the ground Williams contributed 217 yards. Donte Russell helped Mitchell's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
