Roscommon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zoey Kauffman led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Nemiah Carper was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Houghton Lake's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Roscommon, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Houghton Lake will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northern Michigan Christian at 7:00 p.m. Houghton Lake is facing Northern Michigan Christian at the right time seeing as Northern Michigan Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Roscommon, they will head out on the road to face off against Manton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Manton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Roscommon surely won't give up without a fight.
