Fort Wayne North Side's defense also made the game a nightmare for Douglas Diaz, racking up eight sacks. Martin led the group effort, picking up three of those sacks all by himself. Omarion Waites is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Fort Wayne North Side received some extra help from Martin, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Concord entered their tilt with Warsaw on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over the Tigers. 45 seems to be a good number for the Minutemen as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Concord had a senior duo take command as BO BRUNNER rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries and CHAR'RESE BREVEARD rushed for 134 yards and one score on only ten carries. BREVEARD got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 91 yards. CAMARI JACKSON was in the mix too, providing Concord with one TD.
Fort Wayne North Side's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Fort Wayne North Side has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 374.1 total yards per game. However, it's not like Concord struggles in that department as they've been averaging 404.4 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
