Bethel came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Ninilchik, but Kade McCorison wouldn't allow it. The Ninilchik Wolverines walked away with a 74-67 victory over the Bethel Warriors on Saturday thanks in part to McCorison, who went 13 for 24 on his way to 35 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ninilchik's points.

Ninilchik has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Bethel, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ninilchik will welcome Unalaska at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
