Meanwhile, Marshall Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Factoryville Christian with a sharp 65-40 win on Friday.
Marshall Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Patterson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Delray White, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
St. Philip Catholic Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marshall Academy, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
