Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brendan Cruz, who had seven points and four steals. Jovanni Ortiz was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.
Burges' victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Canutillo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season.
Burges wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 86-81 win against Hanks on the 24th. Canutillo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
