Orion won the last time they faced Knoxville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Orion Chargers breezed by the Knoxville Blue Bullets to the tune of 74-33. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kyler Owens was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Jake Bainbridge was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven boards and four steals.

Orion pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Knoxville, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Orion will head out on the road to challenge Mercer County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orion is facing Mercer County at the right time seeing as Mercer County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Knoxville, they will welcome Wethersfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
