The Clear Falls Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a rough 70-49 loss at the hands of Dickinson. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Clear Falls has suffered against Dickinson since January 28, 2020.
Qasim Boyd was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 5 assists for Dickinson. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boyd has scored all season. Emery Allen was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Clear Falls has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. As for Dickinson, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-17.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Brazoswood the next time they take the court. Dickinson will host Brazoswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Clear Falls will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
