6A Conference 7 recap November 19, 2013
South County was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating T.C. Williams. The Stallions came in at 17 in the state poll after placing at number 36 last week.
Lake Braddock added to the longest winning streak in 6A Conference 7 this week by beating Chantilly, 56-31. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Bruins.
South County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. David Symmes threw for 141 and 3 touchdowns and Kevin Quigley had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Edward Kargbo chipped in 119 yards. LeVaughn Davis helped South County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.
He was 7-9 with 1 interception.
Quigley was the best wideout in the league this week as Gerry Pannoni's team bested the Titans. Quigley tallied 2 receptions for 63 yards. Davis helped South County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.
South County's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Stallions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Symmes has thrown for 1,142 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Quigley has 27 catches for 516 yards.
Lake Braddock took down the Chargers 56-31 last week, the largest margin of any game.
