The biggest upset of the week belonged to Simsbury, who took down 31st ranked Conard, 21-0.
Hall's Jordan Bell recorded the longest rushing play in Central Connecticut I West this season in his game against East Hartford last week. Bell's team beat the Hornets as he sprinted for 57 yards on the play and finished with 191 in all.
Southington's dynamic duo of Stephen Barmore and Anthony Bonefant proved tough for New Britain to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Barmore threw for 215 yards and one touchdown and Bonefant had 90 yards receiving. Alex Jamele helped Southington's passing attack out by catching three balls for 88 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Barmore of the Blue Knights is the league leader in passing yards this season with 317. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, Hall's Bell has rushed for 298 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is LT Nembard. The Hall star has 11 catches for 145 yards.
The Trojans moved up to 46 from 75 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Simsbury was able to make the jump by beating the Chieftains 21-0.
