Alexis Emery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 16 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.4 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Allison Cheek, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ragan Godfrey, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
