Wapahani is 8-2 against Northeastern since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Knights at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Thursday, Wapahani made easy work of Eastern Hancock and carried off a 10-2 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Nate Luce spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on two hits.

On the hitting side, Quentine James was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Wapahani: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Eli Andrews was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wapahani kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeastern). They blew past Union County 13-6 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Northeastern's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Logan White, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another was Riley Isaacs, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Wapahani pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Northeastern, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Wapahani hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like Northeastern struggles in that department as they've averaged .341. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wapahani came up short against Northeastern when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 7-3. Will the Raiders have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
