The North Harrison Shamrocks will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Andrew Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Harrison will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Even though North Harrison has not done well against the Warriors recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. North Harrison snuck past the Warriors with a 40-35 victory.
North Harrison had a senior duo take command as Keygun Johnson scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two blocks and Jerry Gilpatrick scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals. Gilpatrick has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, North Andrew was able to grind out a solid win over the Wildkats on Tuesday, taking the game 61-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Andrew.
North Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for North Andrew, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
North Harrison took a serious blow against the Cardinals when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 67-37. Can North Harrison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
