The Newfane Panthers had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They blew past Albion 55-34. Newfane has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ben Dickinson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Braman, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and five steals.
Newfane's win was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Albion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Newfane will head out on the road to face off against Barker at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barker will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while Newfane is ranked 179th). As for Albion, they will be playing at home against Spencerport at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
