Cornerstone Academy added to the longest winning streak in Florida Christian IV (7 Man) this week by beating Halifax Academy, 58-16. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Cougars.
Cornerstone Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 58 points on Halifax Academy. Jake Altom threw for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 128 yards during the win.
Cornerstone Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jonah Nielson has thrown for 365 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Altom has 9 catches for 207 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between First Coast Christian and Old Plank Christian Academy. The Knights enters the game ranked ninth in the state, while Old Plank Christian Academy ranks 10th.
