After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Dodge, Humboldt was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Webster City Lynx as they made off with a 13-2 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Humboldt pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Webster City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12-1.

Looking ahead, Humboldt will face off against Algona at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Webster City, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Boone on the 20th.
