Kelvin Ramos made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those doubles were his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joel Fernandez, who went 2-for-3 with seven stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Jose Rodriguez Jr. also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
