Lakeside won the last time they faced Brunswick, and Dayea Matocha did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pirates on Saturday thanks in part to Matocha, who had 14 assists and four aces. Matocha is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Lakeside easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Brunswick, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Lakeside will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Brunswick, they are taking a road trip to square off against Camden County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
