Brookfield Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Pius XI Catholic Popes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
On Saturday, Brookfield Academy came up short against Lake Country Lutheran and fell 79-69. Brookfield Academy has not had much luck with Lake Country Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, everything went Pius XI Catholic's way against West Allis Central on Friday as Pius XI Catholic made off with a 80-56 victory. The victory was just what Pius XI Catholic needed coming off of a 91-71 loss in their prior game.
Brookfield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Pius XI Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.
