You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Patrician Academy on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Clarke Prep Gators out of the water with a 58-12 final score. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won seven in a row.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ethan Carr and Remington Faile. Carr gained 182 total yards and five touchdowns while Faile rushed for 165 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. Faile's longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Russell, who rushed for 78 yards and one touchdown.

Patrician Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Clarke Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Patrician Academy and Clarke Prep will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Saints are set to challenge their familiar foe Wilcox Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Clarke Prep will square off against rival Morgan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
