After flying high against Blackford last Tuesday, Madison-Grant came back down to earth. The Madison-Grant Argylls lost 9-3 to the Lapel Bulldogs on Wednesday. Madison-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lapel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Madison-Grant will head out on the road to square off against Mississinewa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mississinewa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Lapel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Hancock at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Hancock will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Lapel surely won't give up without a fight.
