After a string of four wins, Westfield School's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Anne-Pacelli.
Strong Rock Christian was handed a 29-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Pike County on Monday. Strong Rock Christian had just enough and edged Pike County out 43-41. The victory was just what Strong Rock Christian needed coming off of a 50-21 loss in their prior match.
Westfield School's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Strong Rock Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
Westfield School took their victory against Strong Rock Christian when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 47-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westfield School since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
