Cripple Creek-Victor has struggled against Custer County recently, as their match on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Cripple Creek-Victor lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luciano Varas, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Varas has scored all season. Tony Woods was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Cripple Creek-Victor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Custer County, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.
