Northern State recap October 22, 2013
Daniel Wallace and Tyler Prentkowski provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bremen. The longest such play in Northern State this season, the connection resulted in 72 yards.
New Prairie extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Knox, 61-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Cougars.
Tyler Weller provided a threat through the air and on the ground as New Prairie topped the Redskins.
Wallace put up the best numbers through the air as Glenn lost to the Lions. He finished with a total of 5 completions for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. Wallace's favorite target this week was Prentkowski, who caught 4 passes for 129 yards.
The Falcons' Wallace and Prentkowski have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Wallace has thrown for 624 yards this season, while Prentkowski has 15 catches for 313 yards. Russ Radtke's team's Wade Young leads the league in rushing yards with 871.
The Cougars took down Knox 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach Brassell threw for 28 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 80 yards during the win.
