Sewickley Academy is  a perfect 8-0 against Clairton since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Sewickley Academy is taking a road trip to  square off against Clairton  at 4:00  p.m. Sewickley Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
Sewickley Academy came out on top against Hillel Academy  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. Sewickley Academy blew past Hillel Academy 12-2. The  win was a breath of fresh air for Sewickley Academy as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

 Nolan Donnelly made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news, Sewickley Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Billy Pietragallo, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Pietragallo is becoming a predictor of Sewickley Academy's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 2-1 (and 0-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Charlie Scally, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Sewickley Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillel Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .200.
Meanwhile, Clairton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They came up short against  Bishop Canevin, falling  18-5.
  Adonte Wiggins was cooking despite his team's loss,   going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  runs marked the first that  he has  scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Quintin Thompson, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Clairton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Sewickley Academy, the  victory was their first  at home , bumping their record up to 2-9.
Clairton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Sewickley Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .354. It's a different story for Clairton, though, as  they've  only  averaged .174. Will they be able to contain Sewickley Academy's hitters?
 Everything went Sewickley Academy's way against Clairton in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, as Sewickley Academy made off with  a  19-2 win. Will Sewickley Academy repeat their success,  or does  Clairton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
