The Wisdom Generals were the 66-47 winner over the Northside Panthers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Wisdom's tough 62-39 defeat to Northside on Friday might stick with them for a while. Wisdom has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
keith Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northside, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Wilson has scored at least 25% of Northside's points. Another player making a difference was Jerryus Mathews, who scored 13 points.
Wisdom's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Northside, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Madison the next time they take the court. Northside will host Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Wisdom will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
