Southeast has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Grand Valley Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Southeast fought the good fight in their overtime game against Aquinas on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Knights.
Meanwhile, Grand Valley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 40-36 win over Crestwood. Given Grand Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while Crestwood is ranked 565th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Southeast's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-5. As for Grand Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
