One of the most notable came from Emily Kate Jones, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 rebounds. Jones is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith Quinn, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.
Trinity School of Texas dropped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.6 points per game. As for First Baptist, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 21-3.
Trinity School of Texas will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for First Baptist, they will head out on the road to square off against Longview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Longview Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1214th, while First Baptist is ranked 459th).
