After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Anderson County, Greenback was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Unaka Rangers as Greenback made off with a 16-1 win. The Cherokees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 12 runs or more this season.
JJ Caudill was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and six RBI. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high.
