Hancock has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge Forbes Road at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Hancock suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Grace Academy, falling 55-21.
Despite the loss, Hancock had strong showings from Alyssa Morris, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals, and Skylar Smith, who scored two points.
Meanwhile, Forbes Road came up short against Northern Bedford County on Wednesday and fell 51-43.
Hancock dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Forbes Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Hancock might still be hurting after the 56-34 loss they got from Forbes Road in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Hancock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
