The Stafford Spartans will square off against the Almeta Crawford Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stafford comes in on three and Almeta Crawford on five.
On Friday, Stafford didn't have too much trouble with Brazosport as they won 34-20. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Exporters are ranked 829th).

Stafford found their leader in sophomore Aiden Seales, who picked up 51 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Seales also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because the Spartans are undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Almeta Crawford was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Needville 39-7. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Stafford better focus on containing Dedrick Polk and Alvin Mosley as the pair were huge in Almeta Crawford's win. Polk gained 173 total yards and a touchdown, while Mosley gained 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Almeta Crawford's defense didn't let Cameron Hall, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Camron Alakija was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making 12 total tackles (5.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
Almeta Crawford's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Stafford, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
