Chippewa (Doylestown, Ohio), 27-12.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown, the Bulldogs went into halftime with a 12-0 lead. The Chipps took the lead to win the game on a
Nick Zollinger touchdown run in the third quarter.
Chippewa came in allowing an average of 21.6 points per game this season. The defense really stepped up, holding Dalton well below its season average of 21.6 points scored per game.
With the win the Doylestown school extended its winning streak to four games.
In a Wayne County game next week Dalton (2-6) takes on Waynedale, and Chippewa (6-2) will go up against Smithville also in a Wayne County game.
