On Wednesday, Carsonville-Port Sanilac had to suffer through a rough 74-28 loss at the hands of the Cougars. Carsonville-Port Sanilac has struggled against the Cougars recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Kingston had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Vassar with a sharp 67-43 win. Kingston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.
Kingston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Corlis, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Corlis hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. Austin Deroseau was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Carsonville-Port Sanilac's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Carsonville-Port Sanilac was dealt a bruising 69-34 loss at the hands of the Cardinals when the teams last played back in February of 2020. Thankfully for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, Evan Neff (who scored 25 points along with six rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
