Another player making a difference was  Ava Garofalo, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, St. Clair put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Port Huron Northern as St. Clair made off with  a  9-3 victory. The result was nothing new for St. Clair, who have now won three games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Lakeview now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for St. Clair, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Lakeview came up short against St. Clair when the teams last played  back in May of 2023, falling  14-9. Can Lakeview avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
