The Cannelton Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 80-29 loss at the hands of Tecumseh. Cannelton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Cannelton's loss came despite strong showings from Trevor Hale and Trevor Sturgeon. Hale scored 12 points, while Sturgeon scored a point.
Cannelton's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Tecumseh, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannelton will face off against Tell City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tell City has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Tecumseh, Tecumseh and Evansville Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Evansville Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
