It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Corydon Central Panthers can now relate to. They fell to the Pirates 49-43. Corydon Central's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Meghan Logan, who scored five points along with ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddie Jones, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Corydon Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Charlestown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
Corydon Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Charlestown will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
