The Delta Panthers won the last time they faced the North Central Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Delta came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 49-36.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cohen Meyers, who scored eight points. Gage Kidston was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Delta is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for North Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Delta is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. North Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Locomotives at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Montpelier is ranked 660th, while the Eagles are ranked 665th).
