Myrtle Beach strolled into their game on Sunday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the St. John's Islanders to the tune of 66-33.

Despite the loss, St. John's still got an impressive performance from Daeshia Buford, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 16 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Buford has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 19 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Trinitie Sutton, who posted six points and six steals.

Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. John's, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Myrtle Beach will challenge Aynor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John's, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cathedral Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
