The Coconut Creek Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 48-12 win over Miramar on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Coconut Creek.
Tessan Parchment was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 13 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Abigail Theophile, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
The win got Coconut Creek back to even at 2-2. As for Miramar, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coconut Creek will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against South Plantation at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Miramar, they will face off against Hallandale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Hallandale is ranked 648th, while Miramar is ranked 631st).
