The Guilderland Flying Dutchmen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight defeat. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to Troy. Guilderland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Troy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Troy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tre'Vonte Vantry led the charge by scoring ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Acevedo, who scored nine points.
Guilderland's loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Troy, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.
Guilderland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Troy also has no future games currently scheduled.
