Adalynn Fugitt was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. In other batting news, Betsy Jack was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Brynn Broughton also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Meanwhile, Minooka entered their tilt with Plainfield Central on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 15-14 W against the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since April 21, 2025.
Addisonn Crumly was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Knutsen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Minooka's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Oswego has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Minooka, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Oswego keep running through batters, or will the Indians buck the trend?
Oswego got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Minooka by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
