Gorham is 7-2 against Cheverus since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Stags at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gorham comes in on seven and Cheverus on ten.
Gorham proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by seven) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Scarborough get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Not much got past Bella McBrady, who gave up just five hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Scarborough off the board. McBrady has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Gorham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Tukey, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Cheverus hadn't done well against Windham recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Stags came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-2. The six-run effort marked the Stags' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Addison DeRoche was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. DeRoche was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Hailey Lamontagne was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
Cheverus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Gorham pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cheverus, their record is now 5-0.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Gorham hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Cheverus struggles in that department as they've averaged .466. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Gorham couldn't quite get it done against Cheverus in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
